Clinical mental health Intern

Amanda Morgan

My passion is helping others find the strength to heal and thrive in every season of life.

Hi, I’m Amanda.

Drawing from my diverse background and dedication to helping others, I am committed to supporting individuals on their path to growth and renewal. Whether through faith-based counseling or holistic mental health approaches, my goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you can thrive.

My background & approach

As a retired United States Marine Corps veteran, I bring a unique perspective to mental health care, rooted in discipline, resilience, and compassion. During my 20-year career, I served in various roles, including military policeman, recruiter, Uniformed Victim Advocate (UVA), and intelligence specialist. These experiences shaped my understanding of the challenges many individuals face and deepened my desire to support others in their healing journey.

I am currently completing my internship through Liberty University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) program, under the supervision of Danielle Johnson. I also hold a mental health coaching certification from the Abide Network and a personal trainer certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). These qualifications allow me to approach mental health holistically, integrating physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

For clients seeking faith-based support, I offer biblical counseling grounded in compassion and understanding. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy hiking, kayaking, and spending time in nature with my husband, Mason, and our family. Together, we can work toward a path of growth, balance, and renewal.
