  • Online therapy allows you to connect with your therapist from the comfort and privacy of your own space. Sessions are conducted through secure video platforms to ensure confidentiality and convenience. You’ll schedule appointments just like in-person sessions and meet with your therapist virtually at the agreed time.

During online sessions, you’ll have the same opportunity to discuss your thoughts, feelings, and goals, while your therapist provides guidance and support tailored to your needs. All you need is a quiet space, a reliable internet connection, and a device with a camera and microphone to begin your therapeutic journey.

  • Yes, we do offer in-person sessions for clients who prefer face-to-face interaction. In-person therapy can be especially beneficial for trauma work or when clients feel they need the grounding and connection that comes with being in the same space as their therapist. Whether you’re seeking support for trauma, anxiety, or other challenges, we’re here to meet you where you’re most comfortable—whether that’s in-person or online.

  • Our fees vary depending on the clinician you work with and their level of licensure. Fully licensed clinicians typically charge higher rates, while residents and interns offer reduced fees to make services more accessible.

If you’re using insurance, fees also depend on whether the clinician you see is in-network with your insurance provider. We recommend reaching out to discuss your specific needs, and we’ll help you determine the best option for your situation, including confirming insurance coverage or out-of-pocket costs.

  • The first session, also known as the intake session, is an opportunity for your therapist to get to know you and understand the reasons you’re seeking therapy. During this session, you can expect to:

    • Share Your Story: Your therapist will ask questions about your background, current challenges, and goals for therapy.

    • Discuss Your History: You’ll explore relevant personal, medical, or family history that may help guide the therapeutic process.

    • Set Goals Together: Your therapist will work with you to identify what you hope to achieve through therapy.

    • Address Logistics: This includes reviewing confidentiality, session structure, and any questions you may have about the process.

This session is also an opportunity for you to decide if the therapist feels like the right fit for you. The goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where you can begin your journey toward growth and healing.

  • Item descriptionThe length of therapy varies for each person and depends on your unique goals, challenges, and progress. Some individuals find short-term therapy (a few months) effective for addressing specific concerns or learning coping strategies, while others may benefit from longer-term therapy for deeper exploration and lasting change.

Your therapist will work with you to develop a personalized plan and regularly review your progress to ensure your needs are being met. The duration of therapy is always your decision, and we’re here to support you for as long as you need.

  • A Good Faith Estimate (GFE) is a document provided to clients without insurance or those not using insurance, outlining the expected costs of therapy services. It is part of the No Surprises Act, designed to give clients a clear understanding of fees and prevent unexpected charges.

The GFE includes details such as:

    • The estimated cost of your sessions based on the agreed fee structure.

    • The expected frequency and duration of therapy.

    • Any additional costs you might incur (e.g., missed appointment fees, if applicable).

Your therapist will provide you with a Good Faith Estimate before your first session or upon request, ensuring transparency and helping you make informed decisions about your care. If you have any questions about your estimate, we’re happy to review it with you.
